Subnet / DHCP Client #
Configure the switch IP to obtain an address automatically via DHCP, or manually specify the desired subnet:
Go to Management

Enable / disable the DHCP Client, or define a new IP and subnet

Energy Efficient Ethernet #
The IEEE 802.3az EEE (Energy Efficient Ethernet) option on a switch is used to reduce power consumption during periods of low data activity. It’s a standard that was developed to help reduce the energy usage of network devices by allowing them to enter a low power state when the network activity is low.
- Select “IEEE 802.3az EEE”

Overall Setting: Ports #
Broadcast Storm Control
This feature is designed to protect the network from broadcast storms. A broadcast storm occurs when there is an excessive amount of broadcast traffic on the network, often due to a loop.
- Specify how many broadcast packets a port receives per second (pps):

- Enable Flow Control
VLAN Configuration #
Select the VLAN tab
- Click
Create New VLAN
- Set up port 1 as trunk port that receives VLAN-tagged traffic from a router
